This policy explains what Covert Influencer collects through covertinfluencer.com, our emails, and our members area, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Contact details: your email and first name when you request the Playbook, buy, join the affiliate program, or contact us. Affiliates also give a payout email.
- Purchase details: what you bought, the amount, date, and status. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe may collect your billing address to calculate sales tax.
- Account and course data: login records, lesson progress, refund or help requests and notes you send us.
- Referral data: which affiliate link brought you here, stored in a cookie and with your order.
- Technical data: a one-way hashed version of your IP address, your country, and browser details, used to prevent spam and abuse. Our host keeps standard server logs.
- Files you upload to member tools, used only to produce the results you asked for.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs: ci_sess keeps you logged in (30 days), and ci_ref remembers which affiliate referred you (30 days). We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To see which pages work, we count page views per day and which site sent them (for example YouTube), as totals only: no cookie, no visitor id, no IP address. Our payment page (Stripe) sets its own cookies for fraud prevention.
How we use it
To deliver what you asked for (the Playbook, the course, your account), process payments and refunds, pay affiliates, send the emails you signed up for, answer you, keep the service secure, and meet legal and tax obligations. We send marketing emails only to people who opted in, and every one has a one-click unsubscribe. Customers still get receipts and account emails after unsubscribing.
We don't sell your information
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes it for us
Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage, email delivery), Stripe (payments and tax), Google Workspace (our support inbox), and Amazon Web Services (email delivery, if used). They process data only to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
Purchase and tax records: as long as tax law requires (generally 7 years). Account, progress and affiliate data: while your account is active, then up to 2 years. Email list data: until you unsubscribe, then we keep only your address on a suppression list so we don't email you again. Login links expire in 20 minutes; sessions in 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information, or to stop marketing emails, by emailing support@covertinfluencer.com. We'll respond within 30 days and may need to verify it's you. Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights, and you won't be treated differently for using them. We may keep records we're legally required to keep.
Security
We store login links and sessions only as one-way hashes, use HTTPS everywhere, and limit who can access data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your email account secure.
Children
The services are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child gave us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
